Which data engineering, machine learning or AI course is right for me?

What is the difference between a data engineering course and a machine learning course?

A data engineer builds the pipelines that move, clean and store data; a machine learning engineer builds the models that learn from it. Every AI product needs both.

Can I join a data engineering or AI course with no coding background?

Yes. Data Engineering starts SQL and Python from first principles, and AI Generalist needs no coding at any point. AI Engineer teaches Python from week 5, after a live maths and Python bootcamp, and AI Engineer Fundamentals covers the same first eight weeks as a course of its own.

Are SkilD's data and AI courses live or recorded?

Live, taught by an industry expert with the chat open, and every session is recorded and up within 24 hours.

Can I take a data engineering or AI course while working full time?

Every course is built around a full-time job. The PG Programs run on weekends, six hours a week live, Saturday and Sunday 10 AM–1 PM, with recordings; the courses take three to six live hours a week.

What are the fees for SkilD's data engineering and AI courses?

PG Programs: ₹1,14,000 for Data Engineering and for AI Engineer, from ₹3,516 a month on EMI, and ₹74,000 for AI Generalist, with phase discounts while a phase is open. Courses: ₹7,999 to ₹9,999. Every amount includes GST.

How long are the data engineering and AI courses?

Data Engineering and AI Engineer run 34 weeks; AI Generalist runs 22. The courses run one to eight weeks.

Should I start with a course or go straight into a PG Program?

Go straight in when the target role is clear: every PG Program admits anyone with a bachelor's degree in any stream and builds from the foundations. A course is there as a head start if you want a smaller first step.

Do the data and AI courses lead into a PG Program?

Each one leads into a program: the AI Launchpad is the first two weeks of all three, the Fundamentals courses lead into Data Engineering and AI Engineer, AI at Work into AI Generalist, and AI-Assisted Development into AI Engineer. You start the program with the basics already in hand.

After
Do SkilD's data engineering and AI courses include placement support?

Yes. The PG Programs run five steps from the final weeks to the first offer: whiteboard rounds, a panel on the end-to-end project, 3+ mock interviews, portfolio reviews and introductions into the 39+ companies our learners work at. The courses carry five steps of their own.

Do the data and AI courses come with a certificate?

Every course ends in a SkilD certificate with a verification ID an employer can check. The PG Programs add a second certificate for the end-to-end project, presented to a panel.

Dates and seats
Can I join a SkilD PG Program after its start date?

Yes, for two weeks after the start, until 11 Dec 2026, and the recordings of the classes you missed are there for you. After that, you join the next cohort.

How many seats does a SkilD course have?

Thirty, the same as every PG Program cohort.
