In brief

  • The agreement is with Aditya Vandhye, trading as Adivantures (SkilD), and includes our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy (section 1).
  • Learners under 18 are enrolled by a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms and pays (section 2).
  • If we move a start date by more than 30 days or cancel a cohort, you choose a full refund or a free move to the next cohort (section 6).
  • Placement support on PG certification programs runs for 3 months after completion. It does not guarantee an interview, a job, a salary or a promotion (section 9).
  • Certificates are SkilD certificates, not degrees or diplomas (section 11).
  • Liability is limited to the fees you paid for the program concerned (section 16).
  • Disputes: write to our Grievance Officer first; then the courts at Pune. Your rights under consumer law are not affected (section 17).

Summary only. The numbered sections below are the Terms; if this summary reads differently, the sections govern.

1This agreement#

These Terms are an agreement between you and Aditya Vandhye, sole proprietor, trading as Adivantures ("SkilD", "we", "us", "our"), GSTIN 22ARBPV2381B1Z6, with registered office at C-231, Rohnipuram, Dangania, Raipur, Chhattisgarh 492001, and head office at MIDC Knowledge Park, 2nd floor, Tower 5, World Trade Centre 1, opp. EON Free Zone, Kharadi, Pune, Maharashtra 411014.

They cover skild.co.in, our Learning Hub, our WhatsApp groups and broadcasts, email and social media pages (the "Platform"), and every program or service offered through it. Our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy form part of these Terms.

  • Using the site: by browsing the Platform you agree to the sections that apply to site use (sections 1, 8, 10, 12, 13 and 15 to 22).
  • Enrolling: you accept these Terms in full when you complete your payment.

A program page may set out extra terms for that program, such as its schedule or projects; those add to these Terms. Corporate and institutional training runs on a separate written agreement, which takes priority where the two differ.

2Who can enrol#

You may enrol on your own if you are 18 or older, by signing our age declaration form at enrolment.

Some programs accept learners under 18. For them, a parent or legal guardian must enrol the learner, sign our parental consent form, accept these Terms on the learner's behalf, and pay. The parent or guardian is our contracting party, gives the consents described in our Privacy Policy, and is responsible for the learner's conduct on the Platform. A learner under 18 cannot enrol or pay alone. Where a school or college enrols its students, our agreement with that institution applies.

3Your account#

Give accurate details and keep them current. One account is for one person: do not share your login, recordings or materials with anyone. You are responsible for what is done through your account. Tell us at atharva@skild.co.in straight away if someone uses it without your permission. We may limit the number of devices signed in at one time, and may suspend an account opened with false details.

4What we offer#

  • free live sessions;
  • workshops, masterclasses, intensives, self-paced courses and other short-format products;
  • short courses;
  • PG certification programs; and
  • training for companies and institutions.

What each includes (content, faculty, duration, schedule, fees and projects) is what the program page shows when you enrol.

5Fees and payment#

  • Fees are the ones shown on the program page when you enrol. Our Refund Policy governs fees, instalments and refunds.
  • When to pay. Full payment, or the first instalment where a plan is offered, holds your seat. Your enrolment is personal and cannot be passed to someone else.
  • How. Payments run through Razorpay, PayU, Stripe and PayPal. We never see or store your full card, UPI or bank credentials.
  • EMI and loans. Instalment plans through a financing partner are an agreement between you and that partner. SkilD is not a lender and takes no share of the partner's interest or charges. If you stop studying, your agreement with the partner continues on its own terms, except where our Refund Policy gives you a refund. Then we pay the refund to the partner to close or reduce your loan, and you get back anything you have paid above that.
  • Fraud warning. SkilD will never ask you for an OTP, a PIN or a payment to a personal bank account or UPI ID. Treat any such request as fraud and report it to us.
  • Missed payments. If you pay SkilD directly in instalments and miss one, we remind you in writing and give you 7 days to pay. After that we may pause your access, as our Refund Policy describes.
  • Chargebacks. If you have a problem with a payment, write to us before raising a chargeback with your bank; most problems are fixed faster that way. We may pause access to the program while a chargeback is open.

6Classes, schedules and changes#

  • Access. Nothing is shipped: every program and course is delivered online. Within 24 hours of your payment we email you your access: your Learning Hub login and, for live courses and programs, the schedule of your live classes. Training for companies and institutions follows its own agreement.
  • Live classes run at the times shown in your Learning Hub. Missed classes are not repeated, but recordings are available to your cohort as section 9 below describes.
  • Keeping content current. We may update the curriculum, tools or projects to keep them in line with how the work is done, and may change a faculty member or a class time with reasonable notice. These changes do not reduce the total live hours or the projects the program page promised.
  • If we move a start date by more than 30 days or cancel a cohort, you choose between a full refund of everything you paid and a move to the next cohort at no extra cost.
  • If a class cannot run because of something under section 19, we reschedule it and tell you.

7Recordings in class#

We record live classes so your cohort can watch them again. When you accept these Terms at enrolment (section 1), you agree that your voice, video and chat messages may appear in that recording if you speak, switch your camera on or type in the chat. We do not use a recording in which you appear in our marketing without your written consent. You may not record classes yourself.

8Content and intellectual property#

Ours. The curriculum, live and recorded classes, slides, assignments, datasets, code samples, software, design, text and graphics on the Platform, and the SkilD name and logo, belong to SkilD or its licensors and are protected by Indian law.

Your licence. While you follow these Terms, you may use our content for your own learning only. This licence is personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable, and can be withdrawn only under section 14. You may not:

  • record, download, copy, republish, sell, rent or share our content, or teach it to others for payment;
  • use our content to train an artificial intelligence model;
  • reverse-engineer our software; or
  • use bots or scrapers on the Platform.

Your work. The projects, assignments and code you create stay yours. You allow us to keep them for assessment and certificate verification, and to show them inside the Learning Hub to your cohort and faculty. We show your work outside the Learning Hub, or with your name, only with your written consent. You confirm that the work you submit is your own and does not infringe anyone's rights.

Other marks. Logos and names of companies, tools or partners appear on the Platform for identification only and do not imply endorsement. If you believe something on the Platform infringes your rights, write to our Grievance Officer with the work, where it appears, your contact details and a statement that you are the owner or authorised to act, and we will look into it within 7 days.

9Placement support and continued access#

  • PG certification programs: intensive placement support for 3 months after you complete the program: resume and LinkedIn review, mock interviews, and, if you opt in, introductions to hiring companies whose openings match your profile.
  • After that, and for all other courses: lifetime access, with limited support, to our alumni community, job postings and your course's class recordings. "Lifetime" means for as long as SkilD offers the course or the Learning Hub.
  • Who it is for: learners whose access has not been suspended or ended under section 14.
  • Your consent: we share your resume and profile with companies only if you opt in, as our Privacy Policy explains.
  • Changes: we may change support and access for future enrolments. We do not reduce the 3 months of intensive placement support for a learner already enrolled.
  • What it is not: placement support is help, not a promise of results. We do not guarantee an interview, a job offer, a salary, a salary increase or a promotion. Hiring decisions are made by the companies alone.

Wherever the Platform, our ads or our team use words such as "placement", "career support", "job support" or "hiring partners", they mean this support, on these terms.

10Outcomes and figures#

Figures and stories on the Platform, such as learner counts, companies where learners work, or salary changes, describe what particular learners reported to us, at the time stated. Each figure says what it measures. They are not typical or promised results; your result depends on your own work, experience and the job market.

11Certificates#

You receive a SkilD certificate when you meet the program's completion criteria, which may include attendance, assessments and projects, and, if you pay SkilD directly in instalments, when you have paid in full. Each certificate carries an ID that anyone can check on our verification page.

SkilD is a training provider, not a university. Our certificates are not degrees or diplomas, are not recognised by the UGC or AICTE, and we do not represent that any university or employer will accept them for academic credit.

12How you behave#

On the Platform, in classes, and in our WhatsApp and community groups, do not:

  • harass, threaten, abuse or discriminate against learners, faculty or staff;
  • submit work that is not your own, share solutions, or use AI tools in an assessment where the assessment rules do not allow it;
  • post anything defamatory, obscene, pornographic, harmful to a child, hateful, infringing, misleading, or otherwise unlawful;
  • impersonate anyone, or contact hiring companies in our name;
  • probe or breach our security, or introduce malware; or
  • advertise, sell, or send unsolicited messages to other learners.

We may remove posts that break these rules and restrict the accounts that post them, as the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021 require. Report a post to our Grievance Officer; we acknowledge reports within 24 hours and act within 7 days.

13Third-party sites and tools#

The Platform links to, and our classes use, services run by others, such as video-class tools, code platforms, cloud accounts, payment gateways and hiring companies' sites. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

14Suspension and termination#

  • You may stop using the Platform at any time. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
  • We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or do not pay. We tell you why in writing and give you 7 days to respond or put it right first, except for piracy, fraud, harassment or a threat to someone's safety, where we may act at once.
  • If we end your access under this section, you receive any refund our Refund Policy allows for your program at that date, and nothing more. Fees for a period already passed are not refunded.

15Disclaimers#

We work to keep the Platform running and accurate, but we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. We may correct errors and update information at any time. Apart from what the program page and these Terms promise, we make no promise about career, salary, interview or placement outcomes.

16Limitation of liability#

To the extent the law allows:

  • SkilD, its proprietor, staff and faculty are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost income, opportunity or data; and
  • our total liability for any claim about a program is limited to the fees you actually paid for that program.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.

17Disputes and governing law#

  1. Talk to us first. Write to our Grievance Officer (section 22). We resolve every complaint within one month.
  2. Arbitration, if we both agree. If a dispute remains, we may both agree in writing to refer it to a sole arbitrator chosen jointly, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996, seated in Pune, Maharashtra, in English.
  3. Courts. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to point 4, the courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
  4. Your consumer rights. Nothing in these Terms takes away any right you have as a consumer to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act 2019, including where you live or work.

18Indemnity#

If someone makes a claim against SkilD because you broke these Terms, broke the law, infringed someone's rights, or posted unlawful or infringing content on the Platform, you will cover the loss and reasonable legal costs this causes SkilD.

19Force majeure#

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, government orders, or widespread internet or power failures. We reschedule affected classes where we can and tell affected learners. If a cohort cannot run within 30 days of its planned date for such a reason, section 6 applies.

20Changes to these Terms#

When we change these Terms, the date at the top changes. If you are enrolled, we tell you about any material change by email or WhatsApp at least 14 days before it applies. For a program you have already paid for, the Terms in force when you enrolled continue to apply, unless a later version is more favourable to you or the law requires the change.

21General#

  • Transfer: we may transfer this agreement to a successor of the SkilD business, on the same terms. You may not transfer it without our written consent.
  • Severability: if a court finds part of these Terms invalid, the rest still applies.
  • Waiver: if either of us does not enforce a term straight away, it can still be enforced later.
  • Whole agreement: these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy and any program-specific or corporate agreement are the whole agreement between us.

22Grievance Officer#

Under the IT Act 2000 and the rules made under it, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020 and the DPDP Act 2023, our Grievance Officer is:
